OK, if you know me at all, you know I like to be a little over dramatic about "lasts" and "firsts". It is kind of a tradition. I always go around saying things like, "This is the last first day of a semester in college", "This is the last March 3rd I will ever be in the caf in college", "This is the last time I will sleep in my bed as an unmarried gal" so on and so forth. Believe me, it drives Kody nuts. He loves me for my weirdness. Well, today I celebrate another last/first! Today is Kody's last first day of a year in medical school. Today he is technically a FOURTH YEAR MEDICAL STUDENT! WOOHOO
It isn't like he has had a break lately so it seems weird saying today is a first day of anything, but technically it is. Today is the first day of residency for new interns, today is the first day of roations for third year students today all of Kody's class can rejoice that they are officially MS4's. Congratulations to all of you!
10 1/2 months until graduation!
In other news, today officially kicks off my birthday month. Yup, a whole month of celebration. No, I do not just recognize my day of birth, but the entire month.

You are so weird! :) That's why I love you...and YAY for Kody!! And I can't wait to celebrate your birthday on July 18th...wait that doesn't sound right...
I TOTALLY do the same thing...and I'm a celebrity junkie, Jason's an OSU med student grad...and we love our dog more than any humans should be allowed, too... We have a lot in common. :)
I too am so excited to be entering our foruth an final year of medical school (and acquiring student debt!) This whole applying to residency is gonna be an interesting/exciting year!
