Today is the day we have been waiting for since we moved into our cute little home in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma two years ago. Tonight we are knocking out the hideous wood laminate counter tops that grace our kitchen landscape. I have been waiting to knock those suckers out for awhile now and tonight I will get my chance. I'm actually pretty excited about Demo Day. I see people bust kitchens up all the time on HGTV. I get envious. Tonight Kody and I get to be design rock stars. Home Depot comes tomorrow at 8AM with our brand spankin new granite counter tops. They will also be installing our huge new beautiful black sink. The new stove we ordered comes on Saturday. This is pretty much covering both of our birthdays and Christmas for the next two years. It is totally worth it and just in time for football season! I can't wait to turn on the television at 10 AM on Saturday and see the ESPN Game Day crew ready for action. It will be music to my ears. Sixteen days and counting...

I'm so jealous. I want new counter tops so friggin bad! We just remodeled one of our bathrooms, ripping out everything but the studs. Good luck...have a good marriage counselor on speed dial.
Or is that just Colin and me that fight during projects?
